Fuvahmulah is easily accessible by domestic flight or speedboat.

✈️ From Male (MLE) :
Take a domestic flight to Fuvahmulah (FVM). Flights operate daily and take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Flight schedule (subject to change):
Male → Fuvahmulah: 15:05 and 23:35
Fuvahmulah → Male: 05:00 and 16:55

🚤 From Addu or Huvadhoo :
Travel by speedboat via the RTL Ferry service. Timings may vary, so check rtl.mv for the latest schedule.

Currency :
The local currency is Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), but US dollars are widely accepted. There's an ATM on the island for local currency and another at Malé airport for USD.

Payments :
We accept both cash and card. A 3.6% bank fee applies for card payments.

Dress Code :
Fuvahmulah is a local island with no designated bikini beach. Modest clothing like shorts and t-shirts is perfectly fine in public areas.

Connectivity :
Local SIM cards with data can be purchased at the airport. Most guesthouses and cafés offer Wi-Fi.

Transport :
Getting around is easy with scooters or bikes, which can be rented on the island. Taxis are also available.

Culture & Religion :
Fuvahmulah is a Muslim island. Alcohol is not allowed, and public behavior should respect local customs.

Swimming & Snorkeling :
There is no lagoon around the island. If you want to swim, avoid going alone, check the currents, and stay aware of your position.

Language :
The local language is Dhivehi, but English is commonly spoken, especially in tourism.
