Ever since the construction of the Harbour and the fish market in 2004, the islanders have been disposing of their daily fish waste near the harbour waters. This practice has drawn in a significant amount of marine life, including numerous tiger sharks that scavenge the leftover scraps from fishermen.
With over 200 individual sharks documented and their numbers increasing, this location has become the top choice among divers visiting the island. The dive site primarily involves a stationary dive at a shallow depth of approximately 12 meters on a sandy drop-off, making it accessible to divers of all certification levels.
Cage diving or hand feeding find no place in our approach; rather, we embrace a harmonious coexistence with the marine environment.
The Adventure Way™ by Scuba Shark: Into the Blue At Scuba Shark, we do things differently. Our signature dive, The Adventure Way, takes you beyond the usual. After a 30 minute stationary dive, we take you into the blue, where the real excitement begins. This is where the magic happens, tiger sharks gliding up from the depths, moving like shadows in the open blue. No distractions, just us, the sharks, and the thrill of seeing them in their natural environment. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience, and it's the only way we do it. You won't just see the sharks; you'll feel their presence, coming from the blue, as part of the wild, raw beauty of the ocean.

We offer 3 boat dives daily, including 2 reef dives and one tiger shark dive, so you can make the most of your underwater adventures.
With over 14 dive sites surrounding our island, there’s a lot to see beneath the waves. The island is a paradise for ocean enthusiasts, offering dive sites teeming with rare and fascinating oceanic species.
The island is surrounded by diverse dive spots on its reefs. The Southern tip known as “Farikede” features a descending plateau into the deep ocean. The Northern corner, or “Hudekede,” is a favored cleaning area for sharks and fish as currents meet and mix there. One of the most popular dive sites is the Tiger shark dive, conveniently located near the harbor entrance for visiting divers.
Each dive is conducted in a small group, with a maximum of 8 divers total, ensuring a personalized experience. Drift diving is our approach; we go with the current, making exploration effortless.
